Frequently Asked Questions

Have a look, maybe your question's been answered

ANSWER:

A will is crucial as it outlines your wishes for the distribution of your assets after you pass away, ensuring they go to the intended beneficiaries. It helps prevent potential family disputes and legal complications, providing clarity and peace of mind to your loved ones.

ANSWER:

An antenuptial contract is advisable if you want to establish a legal framework for how assets and liabilities are managed in the event of a marriage ending or a spouse's death. It can help protect your financial interests and provide clarity during uncertain situations.

ANSWER:

The accrual system governs the distribution of assets acquired during a marriage. It ensures that each spouse retains ownership of their separate assets while also allowing for the sharing of assets accumulated jointly during the marriage. In the event of divorce or death, the net increase in each spouse's estate value is calculated, and the spouse with the lesser increase may be entitled to a share of the difference.

ANSWER:

The conveying process involves the legal transfer of property ownership from one party to another. It encompasses various steps, including due diligence, drafting agreements, obtaining necessary approvals, and registering the transfer at the appropriate deeds office. This process ensures that property transactions are legally binding and properly recorded.

ANSWER:

When you pass away without a will, your estate will be subject to intestate succession laws. This means that the distribution of your assets will be determined by legal rules rather than your personal wishes. The estate will be divided among your surviving spouse, children, and other relatives according to a predefined hierarchy.
